In 2000 Carrobots premiered on Japanese television. The series came with quite a good soundtrack. A portion of the music was released on a cd. The opening and ending themes came out on cd-singles. ![]() Opening theme (Neda 10014) released on 24th of May 2000 1) Opening theme Burning overdrive 2) The future in your colours 3) Overdrive of Flame (Karaoke) 4) The future in your colours (karaoke) Sung by Kouji Wada. Perhaps at some point they hoped to release a second volume. A very big thanks goes out to Atomofish for providing me with this interesting information! He also provided us with a thorough review of this great album. Read Atomofish's big review of this cd here Missing Car Robots BGM list: - The introduction of Gigatron's henchmen. (Episode 1) - A distressful theme that plays when Yuki is desperately trying to call his father following Gigatron's attack. (Episode 1) - The piano Battle theme. (Car Brothers vs. Gigatron's Henchmen during Episode 1) - Theme that plays when Fire Convoy brings Yuki over to his underground base. (Beginning of Episode 2) - A slower and goofier remix of the same theme. - The heroic theme that plays when Mach Alert, Wildride and Speedbreaker transform. (Episode 1) - A more lighthearted remix of the following theme. (Gelshark/Skybyte at the end of Episode 24/Junko at Episode 2) - The scene when Gigatron is speaking and revealing his plans to Dr. Onishi. And Fire Convoy's arrival in New York. (Episode 1) - An action theme that plays during the introduction of Mach Alert, Wildride, Speedbreaker and the luckless Junko. (Episode 1) - An slow, ambient and forbodingly evil theme. Plays when we zoom in to the Destronger base underwater. (Episode 2) - A nightmarish horror-styled theme with a lot of heavy guitars and pipe organ styled instruments. Fitting for Gigatron and the Destrongers. Plays when Gelshark is introduced. (Episode 2) - Another action theme that plays when Yuki and Speedbreaker are being chased by the Destrongers. (Episode 6) - The introduction of Black Convoy/Scourge. (Episode 14) (That song and Track 14 reminded me heavily of Gundam Wing.) - An ancient Egyptian styled theme that plays in various moments in the series. (Beginning of Episode 24) - When God Magnus reveals his true intentions to Fire Convoy. Which was also a much more sinister toned remix of Black Convoy's theme. (End of Episode 24) - A dark and forboding theme played during the first appearance of God Fire Convoy/Omega Prime. (Near the end of Episode 25 and the end of Episode 38) - A slow and sad piano remix of "Burning Overdrive." (Near the end of Episode 39) - An emotional theme that plays when Fire Convoy convinces God Magnus to help fight Devil Gigatron one last time. (Episode 39) - A happy and cheerful guitar theme. (Played at the end of Episode 39.) - Another song that plays when the Cybertron's celebrate their short- lived victory after Brave Maximus destroys the Destronger base. (Beginning of Episode 38.) - Guitar theme that plays when Devil Gigatron reveals his plan involving Earth's children to Fire Convoy. (Episode 38.) - A cheerful and relaxing theme when Yuki is talking to his friends. (Beginning of Episode 36) - Some of the goofier and comdedic songs were left out too. (Most notably the remix of Gigatron and the Destrongers theme.) The "comedic" version of Gigatrons theme was remixed in one of Tony Bacula's songs. - Another "comedic" theme that plays when Black Convoy and the Combatrons are cleaning up their "mess." (Episode 18) - The 2 eyecatch themes. (A different song that was never used appeared on the OST) ROBOTS IN DISGUISE |
